Music education majors enrolled in teaching methods classes are required to participate in field experience activities. Students will log a total of 10 hours of observation and/or teaching at a local elementary/secondary school.

The intent of field experience is to familiarize yourself with examples of how the course content is applicable to day-to-day teaching practice.
